The Storyville Mosquito
The Storyville Mosquito takes us along on a multileveled, miraculous adventure in the territory of technical art. A film is created directly on stage using miniature puppets and sets, projected live on a large screen. All accompanied by a soundtrack by Kid Koala, the well-known scratch DJ and multimedia artist.
We follow a young mosquito as he leaves the small town where he grew up to fulfill his dream of playing in a large jazz band in the metropolis.
The mosquito, his friend Katy and a nasty spider play the main roles in a story about the significance of belonging, the love of music, co-operation and what it means to follow your inner voice. Above all, it’s about the importance of telling your own story and sharing it with others.
This show is a challenging onstage collaboration. Everything happens live in this interactive piece. Each performance is unique.
